Thinking about where you’ll be starting your career? How to choose a practice?
Come along to this interactive session which will be led by Dr Phil Dawson alongside Lucy, his current foundation dentist. They will provide a guide through the DF1 practice selection process and there will be an opportunity for you to get answers to any questions you may have!
Some of the things that will be discussed include:
– What your ranking means
– What trainers are looking for
– What is important to ask at the selection days
– The foundation year experience as a whole and life beyond BDS
This event is open to Year 4 and 5 BDS – the session will primarily focus on choosing your practice and the foundation year experience, as opposed to SJT and interviews, but the session was found to be very useful by last year’s fourth years if you would like a head start!
Light refreshments will be provided and we hope to see you all there!
