The Wikipedia Project is a new branch of the society starting in 2017 that will link us to many other dental schools across the world.
It was originally founded in the University of Dundee by Nour Geres in January 2016 that has already gone global, with dental schools in America and Egypt joining!
It is a student-led initiative supported by the Cochrane Collaboration that aims to significantly improve the quality of dental Wikipedia pages, to help patients understand their treatments and to help students in their learning process.
The project aims to foster links within the dental school between students of different year groups from first to fifth as well as between the teaching staff and the students.
We have great expectations of what this project can provide for everyone and are looking forward to running it!
